AVC Technology

The receiver's built-in AVC (Active Vehicle Control) traction control system makes hundreds of throttle and steering adjustments per second, converting more motor power into speed and acceleration instead of just kicking up dirt. This unique AVC system, exclusive to Horizon Hobby, enhances performance like no other. Similar to traction control in full-scale vehicles, you can activate or deactivate the system on the fly and adjust the stability level based on driving conditions. With AVC, any RC vehicle can achieve faster speeds while maintaining optimal stability across all driving conditions.

Axles

The single-speed transmission and sealed front and center differentials are built to withstand harsh conditions and the power of a high-output brushless motor. MOD 1 gears enhance the durability of this rugged desert vehicle. With the ability to adjust the three differentials, drivers can fine-tune their Hammer Rey to excel in any track conditions.

Electronics

The Spektrum DX3 radio system, featuring AVC technology and a 3-position throttle limiting switch, is paired with the Hammer Rey for advanced control. Equipped with a Spektrum 3150Kv Brushless motor, a Smart 130A Brushless ESC, and a SR6200A DSMR 6-Channel AVC/telemetry receiver, it provides live battery voltage feedback. Capable of handling up to 3S LiPo batteries (sold separately), this combination propels the Hammer Rey to speeds of up to 40 mph. The truck boasts waterproof electronics, including the receiver, servo, and ESC, allowing for all-weather performance, whether you're splashing in rain, spinning in mud, or making tracks in snow.
