Schumacher's pinions are 6mm wide as opposed to the standard 4mm width found on most 32dp pinions, so the width matches the width of both nylon and delrin spur gears perfectly every time.  A wider pinion means more contact area, and less chance of damaging your spur gear's teeth, and their hard alloy contruction means they're long lasting and can be securely attached to the motor shaft without fear of damaging the pinion.
